Thank You To The Participating Artists

For those of you who we know well and to the new artists participating this year, a heartfelt thanks on behalf of myself and the HBHAS. You remind us of what is possible.

Your work makes the art exhibition beautiful and a beloved community event for the Cultural Centre. We’ve had many visitors this year and so many wonderful compliments. You help us escape, if only for a moment, to different lands through your creative expression “Celebrating Freedom”.

Thank you for traveling to Halton Hills and sharing your positive vibe, talents and creative spirit. It was a magical evening.

Judy Daley, the curator of the Culture Centre, thank you for your input and assistance. We appreciate all the fine detail and effort that happened behind the scenes. We had fun.

To all the artists remember what Langston Huges said, “An artist must be free to choose what he does, certainly, but he must also never be afraid to do what he might choose.” ~ Langston Huges

A Wonderful Way To Inspire & Celebrate With Community

A Leisurely Pastime Picnic Coming Soon

Research suggests spending time in a natural setting is good for your mental health. A family picnic is great family time with the kids. It’s also a wonderful tradition to strengthen ties with family and friends too.

Coming soon the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Center is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a family picnic. I’ll be there with my rainbow set of harps to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to have an experience playing the harp.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play the harp? Curious about this ancient musical instrument? Then you’re in for a treat.

Recreational harp music making is healthy and inclusive. It’s based on music activities that bring the community together. Come see for yourself at the JCHAC Family Picnic Sunday, June 10th, 2018. It’s the perfect opportunity to come out take part and have fun.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
