3rd Annual Art Exhibition Helson Gallery Summer 2019

It’s That Time Of Year Again

The HBHAS  Art Exhibit, “Celebrating Freedom” will be back for its final showing, Halton Hills Cultural Centre.

Date: July 31st to September 8th.

Launch Celebration: August 1st 7:00 PM.

I mentioned last year that participation in the arts and culture brings the community together. It helps improve social inclusion leading the way for positive experiences with diversity, tolerance and free expression. Together we feel safer, stronger. Our community united.

This summer be sure to make time and drop in to discover something new and exciting!!!

I’m creating healing art, not necessarily for the event, inspired by one of the artists participating in the exhibit.

Renew Your Mind And Eventually Your Heart

Let MARI® Be A Doorway Into Your Mind And Heart

Did you know MARI® has been called, “The Doorway into the Wonder of the Psyche?” Well, what I know for sure is MARI® has a beautiful way of opening people’s hearts and minds.  You have the opportunity to see a visual of what is real and true in your life.

The spontaneous creativity supports participants to see and integrate what they might be holding in. It also reveals their visionary potentials. It’s the spontaneous drawing that sometimes seems a little scary for some to let go and just create.

Weekend workshops are profound in so many ways. Thank you to those who have come for the experience including those who come back after a year-long transformation. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Creating authentic heart connections in our community is alive and well! And it just keeps on getting better. Thinking of a way to renew your mind and heart? Experience MARI® today.

Join our next ‘mini’ workshop on March 2nd at The Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, Mississauga, ON. For a FULL personal MARI® experience contact me for more details francescadurham@gmail.com

Thank You To The Participating Artists

For those of you who we know well and to the new artists participating this year, a heartfelt thanks on behalf of myself and the HBHAS. You remind us of what is possible.

Your work makes the art exhibition beautiful and a beloved community event for the Cultural Centre. We’ve had many visitors this year and so many wonderful compliments. You help us escape, if only for a moment, to different lands through your creative expression “Celebrating Freedom”.

Thank you for traveling to Halton Hills and sharing your positive vibe, talents and creative spirit. It was a magical evening.

Judy Daley, the curator of the Culture Centre, thank you for your input and assistance. We appreciate all the fine detail and effort that happened behind the scenes. We had fun.

To all the artists remember what Langston Huges said, “An artist must be free to choose what he does, certainly, but he must also never be afraid to do what he might choose.” ~ Langston Huges

Every Picture Tells A Story, Ask Artist Ian Grant

2nd Annual HBHAS Art Exhibition Coming Soon!

Had a great time meeting artist Ian Grant on the Danforth, Areej Art Gallery, this past weekend. His solo exhibit, “The Journey” is more than a collection of photographs. His inspirations come from traveling the world. Some images cheeky and others uniquely soulful where the images transcend those influences.

Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.  ~ Dorothea Lange

Make this your summer destination to drop in and discover something new and exciting!!! A dynamic opportunity to learn more about the artists and their body of work. All stunning and unique.
