At the Girl Guides Centre Mississauga, we had 14 girls participate in a Halton Harps music workshop. The young girls came together in the afternoon for a unique experience. They learned how to play the harp.
The benefit of harp music workshops for the girls helps them socially, can improve memory, teaches patience, connects them to self and others while fostering learning, expression, and creativity. Having a hobby or creative outlet for young girls builds a healthy self-esteem.
Empowering young girls to believe in themselves, try something new and simply do their best builds confidence. That was our goal yesterday and we achieved it with success!
Creating magical moments one harp at a time, making friends and having fun leaves an impression and impact that lasts a lifetime for the Girl Guides.
These young minds were able to flourish in an environment where they felt safe and comfortable to explore something new.
Heartfelt thanks go out to Mary and Heather for inviting me to share another Halton Harps workshop with your community. We had FUN!
