Did you know MARI® has been called, “The Doorway into the Wonder of the Psyche?” Well, what I know for sure is MARI® has a beautiful way of opening people’s heart and minds. You have the opportunity to see a visual of what is real and true in your life.
This past weekend a doorway opened in a big way for one participant in our workshop. She wasn’t expecting the heartfelt impact after creating her MARI®. Our safe space allowed her to open up and share. Conversations took off like a rocket and it started with the quietest person in the room taking the lead which is awesome!!!
Spontaneous creativity supports participants to see and integrate what they might be holding in. It also reveals their visionary potentials. It’s the spontaneous drawing that sometimes seems a little scary for some to let go and just create.
Our weekend workshop was profound in so many ways. Thank you to those who took the time to come out and thank you for sharing your experiences.
Creating authentic heart connections in our community is alive and well! And it just keeps on getting better.
Being brave is about taking action and it takes courage to be brave.
I decided to survey my circle of friends for their thoughts on being brave. These were the common actions and thoughts about what it takes to be brave with your life.
Make decisions and be a leader.
Be OK being different.
Show you’re vulnerable.
Do what you do and do it well.
Know what you stand for.
Share your experience.
Leadership is a skill that you can learn. And if you already have leadership qualities there is always room for improvement to maximize your potential.
Working toward being the best version of you each and every day takes bravery and courage. By the end of the year, you can look back and see from your actions how far you’ve come. Realistic goals and challenges are important. Most importantly, remember to be playful and have fun too.

You will have to tune into our blog talk radio show later this month to learn more about the work Monica is doing in her practice and how she’s helping her clients through body-based therapeutic work. For now, enjoy this short 3 min 5 sec clip, a continuation from An Open Letter – Part 1. Monica poses the question, “What exactly is creative energy, and how else does it manifest in our lives?
Monica writes, “And if we access this energy either through music making or sexual pleasure, how does that ripple out into everything else we do?” Well, what lies behind creative energy and consciousness just might surprise you.
If you are interested in being mentored or wish to learn how to play the harp therapeutically, please get in touch. I’ve been through 2 wonderful creative harp programs and I’m happy to share my experience with you. Interested?
